We can't even find the comedy in this anymore. They are just bad, and not even in a haha way that we can somewhat appreciate.

Old sports truism. No team on a winning streak is as good as it looks. No team on a losing streak is as bad as it looks.

They blew a 3-1 lead in the third to the literal worst team in the league. The Ducks were 1-6-1 before that game. The refs literally tried to give the game to the Leafs and they lost it anyway.

They lost to Phoenix, who might just be the single worst team constructed in the salary cap era.

They even lost to the Sharks. I was up until 1:30am and will never get those three hours of my life back.

They are just all bad. I will honestly be shocked if there isn't multiple moves made by this time next week.

Youth is wasted on the young. 13 games into the season and you have decided how things will go? Don't get me wrong, this is a challenged Leafs team but really? Every good team has bad stretches. Every bad team has good stretches.

I'm fine with bandwagoners pissing off, but making judgements an 8th of the way into the season is clown show, bro.

in defense of the leafs... i feel dirty saying that, ugh, this is gross. anyways otherwise good nhl teams really love playing their absolute worst against terrible teams for an incredible clownshow. i'm sure they'll do some sort of upswing once they're not playing the worst of the west anymore.
